Write my paper: free guides to writing it yourself

If you have ever typed “write my paper” into a search bar at midnight, this site is for you, but not in the way you might expect. We don’t write papers for anyone. We publish free, step-by-step guides that help you plan, draft, cite and polish your own work, so the next essay takes less time and earns a better grade.

Every guide is based on the advice of university writing centres and style manuals, cites its sources, and shows worked examples you can adapt. Start with the cluster that matches the stage you are at, or read the featured guide below.

A note on academic integrity

  • Submitting work written by someone else, a paid service or an AI tool as your own breaks the academic-integrity rules of almost every university and can lead to failing the course or worse.
  • Our guides are meant to help you do your own work better: understand the task, structure your argument and credit your sources correctly. Check your own institution’s policy, especially on AI tools.

How to use these guides

  1. Start from the assignment. Read the question and the marking criteria first, then pick the guide for the stage you are at: planning, drafting or proofreading.
  2. Work through the examples. Each guide has before/after examples; adapt them to your own topic rather than copying them.
  3. Cite as you go. Keep a record of every source while you research, then format your references with the citation guide.
  4. Leave time to revise. Plan your week so you finish the draft early and use the proofreading checklist before you submit.
